Shop settings configure the brand you are currently working in. They are separate from your personal login and from the settings of one page in the editor. For initial registration and billing, use Create your account and shop. For the full route to launch, use First-launch checklist.

Check the active shop first

Before changing settings, confirm the selected shop in Jurni. This matters when you work across brands, agencies, or regional stores: the products, credentials, and teammates you configure must belong to the intended shop. Do not paste one brand’s tracking or review credentials into another shop as a shortcut. A page may appear to work while sending data to the wrong account.

Find the right setting

Available store-connection controls depend on your platform. Do not use Shopify theme or app-proxy instructions for a non-Shopify frontend.

Shop-wide configuration versus a page edit

A shop integration connects the provider account or loads its required script. A page widget decides where that provider’s form, reviews, or other content appears. Connecting a provider does not necessarily insert a visible widget into every page. Similarly, your brand settings provide design inputs, while the editor contains page-specific styling and content. When changing a shared input, inspect existing pages that depend on it rather than assuming every local customization will be replaced. For reusable page content, distinguish Saved Sections from Global Sections. Global content has a wider edit scope than an ordinary local section.

Save and verify changes

Use the save or connect action in the settings area you changed and wait for its result. Different settings do different things: an OAuth connection authorizes an account, a saved identifier configures a provider, and a publishing action updates a page. A connected badge confirms the saved connection state; it is not a substitute for testing the full shopper workflow. Open the intended page and verify the result, especially after changing credentials, scripts, domains, or commerce settings.

When a control is unavailable

Check the active shop, your role, and whether initial onboarding and billing are complete. Some controls require additional Shopify, ad-platform, or vendor permissions outside Jurni. Ask the owner or admin to complete the action rather than sharing their login. If you still need help, share the setting you opened, the shop name, and the error message with the Jurni team. Do not include private API keys or account passwords in a screenshot or support message.
