Use this setup path when your shopper-facing site runs on the Shopify Online Store. The Shopify setup has three separate parts that are easy to confuse:
  1. Jurni Core — connects the Shopify storefront to Jurni tracking and attribution.
  2. Page publishing — determines where the Jurni page itself lives.
  3. Third-party integrations — determines which pixels, analytics tools, review widgets, or scripts run on the page.
Complete each part independently.

1. Activate Jurni Core

Jurni Core is the Shopify storefront integration used to maintain Jurni session/visit context and connect Shopify cart, checkout, and order signals back to Jurni. Enable Jurni Core in the active Shopify theme before relying on Jurni analytics, experiment reporting, or purchase attribution. See Activate Jurni Core.

2. Choose how Jurni pages will be published

A Shopify Online Store brand can use more than one publishing method.

Default Shopify app proxy

Without a custom Jurni subdomain, Jurni-generated page/Smart Link URLs use the Shopify app proxy pattern: https://yourdomain.com/apps/jurni/<handle> This keeps the URL on the Shopify root domain while Jurni serves the page through the app proxy.

Custom Jurni subdomain

You can connect a branded subdomain such as go.brand.com or try.brand.com. Jurni pages and Smart Links can then use that branded domain. There is no Jurni limit on the number of pages you can create on the connected subdomain.

Native Shopify Pages

Shopify brands can also publish a Jurni page into a Shopify page template. The resulting URL uses Shopify’s normal page structure: https://yourdomain.com/pages/<handle> Shopify Pages use a theme template containing the Jurni app block. They are useful when the page needs to live inside the store’s native theme/script environment, but they have different compatibility and cart behavior from a Jurni-hosted page. See Publishing Jurni Pages before choosing the method.

3. Configure data and page integrations

Configure analytics/pixels in Settings → Integrations and custom browser scripts in Settings → Custom Scripts.
A script or widget that works on a Jurni-hosted page does not automatically behave the same way on a native Shopify Page. Shopify Pages inherit the Shopify theme environment, while Jurni Custom Scripts are scoped to Jurni-hosted experiences. Test the actual publishing method you will use.

2

Create and QA the experience

Build the page, connect the real product/Buy Box, and test the purchase flow.
3

4

Configure integrations

Add the tracking and widget integrations required by the campaign.
5

Test the live URL

Validate cart/checkout, attribution, pixels, widgets, and campaign parameters on the exact URL that will receive traffic.
