New experiences: add a Sticky CTA from the Section Library
For new experiences, add the Sticky CTA as a normal section from the Section Library. This is the current model and should be used for new builds. Because it is a section, you can manage it with the same editor workflow used for other page sections: add it, edit its content and action, preview it, and save the experience. For a supported editable section, select the section root and find Sticky position in its controls. Choose None, Top, or Bottom according to the intended behavior. Check both device views and scroll the preview to confirm the result. Sticky placement does not configure the button’s purchase or navigation action. Configure and test that action separately. Avoid stacking a new sticky section over an existing legacy banner, cart control, or consent notice.Older help-center instructions that tell you to create a new sticky banner from Experience Settings → Global Sticky Banner describe the legacy model. New sticky CTAs are added from the Section Library instead.
Existing experiences with the legacy Sticky Banner
Experiences that already use the legacy global sticky banner can still edit it from the experience settings. Jurni keeps the legacy settings visible when the experience already has a saved sticky CTA configuration. From the legacy settings you can:- enable or disable the existing sticky banner
- open the sticky-banner editor
- edit the saved sticky CTA configuration
CTA actions
A sticky CTA should lead to the shopper’s next intended action. Common examples include:- scroll to a Buy Box or another section
- add a product to cart
- open cart
- continue to checkout
- open another page or external URL
Preview before publishing
Always check sticky behavior in both desktop and mobile preview before publishing. Pay particular attention to:- whether the CTA covers important page content
- whether it remains visible at the right point in the page
- whether its action works after the page is published
- whether the mobile layout needs different spacing or text
