# Experience Analytics

> Explore Jurni experience analytics to measure how visitors interact with your experiences. Understand engagement, conversion, and behavior patterns.

Experience Analytics shows how a specific Jurni experience performs across traffic, engagement, commerce steps, and revenue. Use it to understand the performance of the page itself before comparing it against other variants in an experiment.

## What to look at first

Start with four questions:

1. **How much traffic reached the experience?** Review sessions.
2. **Are shoppers showing purchase intent?** Review add-to-cart and checkout rates.
3. **Are they converting?** Review purchases and CVR.
4. **How valuable is the traffic?** Review revenue, AOV, and revenue per session.

## Core metrics

| Metric | What it tells you |
| ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Sessions | How much attributed traffic reached the experience |
| Add-to-Cart Rate | Whether visitors are beginning the purchase process |
| Checkout Rate | Whether shoppers are progressing from cart toward checkout |
| CVR | How efficiently sessions turn into purchases |
| Revenue | Total attributed revenue in the selected scope |
| AOV | Average value of each completed order |
| RPS | Revenue generated per session |

## Diagnose performance across the conversion journey

Do not treat every CVR change as a landing-page problem. Use the step metrics to identify where the change is happening.

### Low add-to-cart rate

Investigate:

* Message-to-ad alignment
* Product selection
* Offer clarity
* Buy Box usability
* Mobile layout
* Pricing and savings communication

### Healthy add-to-cart, low checkout

Investigate:

* Cart configuration
* Unexpected cart contents
* Discounts not applying
* Subscription or selling-plan issues
* Cart app conflicts

### Healthy checkout, low purchase

Investigate the Shopify checkout and payment flow, shipping expectations, taxes, discount behavior, or other checkout-specific friction.

## Compare time periods carefully

When comparing two time ranges, consider changes outside the page itself:

* Traffic source or campaign mix
* Promotion or pricing
* Inventory
* Paid-media targeting
* Day-of-week mix
* Seasonality

A page can be unchanged while its performance changes because the incoming traffic changed.

## Use experiments for controlled comparisons

If you want to know whether a page change **caused** a performance difference, use an experiment rather than comparing two unrelated time periods. An A/B test controls the traffic distribution so the variants can be evaluated under more comparable conditions.
