# Turn an ad into a landing page

> Build a Jurni landing page that preserves the promise, audience, and visual context of a paid ad while adding the education and proof needed to convert.

# Turn an ad into a landing page

Use this playbook when you already have an ad or creator asset and want the landing page to feel like the **next sentence in the same conversation**.

The core principle is **message match**: the visitor should recognize the promise, product, and context they clicked before you ask them to absorb new information.

## When to use this

This works especially well for:

* Meta or TikTok ads with a clear hook
* creator / influencer traffic
* campaigns testing one specific benefit or problem
* ads that are already earning good click-through but sending traffic to a generic PDP or homepage

## Step 1: extract the campaign truth

Before building, answer:

```text theme={null}
AD HOOK
[What stopped the scroll?]
PROMISE
[What outcome / benefit / idea earned the click?]
AUDIENCE
[Who is this speaking to?]
PRODUCT
[What product does the ad show or imply?]
PROOF
[What proof appears in the ad, if any?]
CTA EXPECTATION
[What does the visitor expect after clicking?]
```

Do not invent a new “better” angle if the current ad already earned the visit.

## Step 2: attach the ad and product

If the ad is available through the Meta connection, attach the relevant ad. Otherwise attach the video, image, screenshot, or creative brief.

Also attach the real connected product and any approved claims or proof that should support the page.

## Step 3: build the first screen first

The first screen should answer three questions immediately:

1. **Am I in the right place?**
2. **Is this still about the thing I clicked?**
3. **What should I do next?**

A strong first pass often contains:

* campaign-matched headline
* product visual consistent with the ad
* one short supporting explanation
* one primary CTA
* one credible proof point when available

Avoid opening with a corporate brand story if the ad sold a specific problem or benefit.

## Copy-ready build prompt

```text theme={null}
Use the attached ad as the primary campaign brief.
First, identify the ad's:
- audience
- hook
- main promise
- product
- proof
- expected next action
Then build a landing page that continues those ideas without making the visitor reorient.
HERO
Repeat or closely continue the main ad promise.
Use the same product context and approved visual direction.
Make the primary next action obvious.
BODY
Add only the education, proof, and objection handling needed to move this audience toward [primary action].
SOURCES
Use the attached product, approved assets, AI Knowledge, and supplied proof.
DO NOT
- invent a new campaign angle
- invent claims or reviews
- change the product or approved offer
- replace working purchase controls with static UI
MOBILE
Keep the ad promise, product context, proof, and CTA easy to understand in the first mobile screens.
```

## Step 4: decide how much education this visitor needs

Not every ad needs the same landing page depth.

### Shorter page

Use a shorter path when:

* the ad already explains the product well
* traffic is retargeting or product-aware
* the offer is simple
* the main barrier is purchase confidence, not understanding

### Longer page

Use more education when:

* the category is unfamiliar
* the product mechanism needs explanation
* the ad introduces a problem more than the product
* the purchase requires more trust or comparison

Do not confuse “long page” with “high-converting page.” Every section should answer a real customer question.

## Step 5: place proof near the claim it supports

If the hero says “easy to use every morning,” proof about routine adoption belongs near that idea. If the product section makes a savings claim, the real price / offer context should be close to it.

Avoid creating one giant “social proof” block that is disconnected from the decisions the visitor is making throughout the page.

## Step 6: review message drift

Use this prompt before launch:

```text theme={null}
Compare the attached ad with this landing page.
Do not edit yet.
Score the page from 1–5 on:
1. headline message match
2. product consistency
3. offer consistency
4. visual continuity
5. audience relevance
6. CTA continuity
For every score below 4, explain the smallest change that would fix the mismatch.
Do not recommend unrelated redesigns.
```

## Step 7: test the exact campaign URL

Open the exact destination you will place in the ad platform. Verify:

* correct experience
* correct product
* campaign parameters preserved
* page loads well on mobile
* CTA works
* cart / checkout destination is correct

Do not use a working editor preview as proof that the paid campaign URL is ready.

## What good looks like

A strong ad-to-page experience usually feels **boringly consistent** at first: same core idea, same product, same audience, same offer. The additional page content should reduce uncertainty—not compete with the ad.

## Common mistakes

**Headline drift:** the ad says one thing; the page leads with a broader brand slogan.

**Product drift:** the creative features one product or bundle while the page opens with another.

**Offer drift:** the ad promises a gift, discount, or subscription benefit that the page does not make obvious.

**Over-education:** the page makes a motivated visitor read several generic sections before finding the product.

**Creator voice becomes brand voice immediately:** creator traffic often performs better when the transition feels continuous before the brand takes over the explanation.

## What to test next

After you have basic message match, useful hypotheses include:

* exact ad hook versus a broader benefit headline
* proof immediately under hero versus later
* product shown above the fold versus after one education section
* short page versus additional objection handling

Change one meaningful decision at a time.
